From 2016 to 2018 I realised a childhood dream and bought and ran a successful doggy daycare centre in Ipswich Suffolk. When purchased, the business was failing. However with modernisation of the facilities, updated branding and extensive marketing, the business was turned around. At our peak we were looking after 30 dogs a day in the 1200 square foot warehouse.
This was very much a passion project of mine and it allowed me to run my marketing and IT agency from the same building, meaning I could stop for dog hugs whenever I wanted! I hired an extensive team of dog care assistants to help run the doggy daycare centre. I was made an offer in 2018 that I couldn’t refuse and so I sold the business.
